We’re very excited about this one as it’s one of our favourite hidden gems in Southport. Tucked away on Post Office Avenue, just off Lord Street, Bijou is a throw-back, one of its kind, community-led cinema.

They show all of your favourite films and take requests throughout the year, meaning you get the chance to watch classic movies on the big-screen again. They also often show the latest films so make sure to check them out before buying tickets at one of the bigger chain cinemas!

What makes it even better, they have a bar area where you can enjoy a drink and snacks - you can even take them into the screening with you!
